28/03/24: Town Make Five Transfer Deadline Day Signings

The club is pleased to announce five new signings on transfer deadline day.

Being no stranger to the club, goalkeeper Dylan Bolton, who was last season’s number one, returns to add cover and competition to current goalkeepers Callum Brain and Adam Cueto.

Joe Ward (first pic wearing 3), a former Newport County AFC apprentice, signs for the club from Newport City. The fullback or winger will add work rate and experience on the left-hand side having also previously having played for Chepstow Town and in Canada.

Also joining the Crows is former Cardiff City Academy scholar Tom Pearson (second pic). Tom represented Wales at youth level with multiple caps to his name. He spent time playing in the USA after leaving Cardiff and upon his return to the country has had spells with Chepstow Town and Newport City. He also coached at Newport County Academy.

Versatile attacker Olly Beckett signs for the Crows having previously spent time playing in the Ardal South with Undy Athletic, and Caerleon and Newport YMCA in their Welsh League days. Olly will add technical quality and work rate across the front line and is another great addition ahead of the window closing.

Finally, former Aberbargoed Buds centre back Dafydd Brewer (last pic) has joined the Crows for the season run-in. Daf, who won the Gwent Premier League with the Buds last season, will add quality and experience to the Crows defence. He has previously spent time with Abergavenny Town, and Pontypridd Town in Welsh League Division One under the management of Dominic and Damien Broad.

Welcome to the Crows, guys!
