11/09/26: Sean Wharton Appointed New First Team Manager
The club is delighted to announce the return of club legend Sean Wharton as our new First Team Manager.
A familiar and hugely respected figure, Sean returns to the club with a wealth of experience. As a member of our Football League of Wales title-winning squad, Sean made a total of 160 appearances for the Crows. He was also part of the side that made history by representing the club on our European debut against Cork City in 1993.
Sean previously managed the Crows between 2005 and 2007, a spell which saw him lead the club to victory in the 2005/06 Gwent Senior Cup. Since then, his management career has seen him take charge of Goytre, Abergavenny Town and Aberbargoed Buds, gaining valuable experience across the Welsh football pyramid.
Sean will be ably assisted by the currently coaching staff of Wayne Jepson, Kristian Hanbury and Paul Cox.

Welcome back, Sean!

On the announcement, chairman Dan O'Connell said:
"We would like to thank Brandon for his professionalism and work ethic. He is a very talented coach and an exceptional person, and we hope to see him back at the club at some point in the future.
Sean of course needs little introduction, a Crows legend on and off the pitch, and one of the best managers in Welsh football. We are delighted to have him back leading our great club - welcome home Sean."
