16/08/24: Sam O'Sullivan Signs for the Crows

The club is thrilled to announce that Sam O'Sullivan has signed for the Crows for the forthcoming season, and goes straight into this coming weekend's squad.

Sam started his career at Newport County, coming through their academy and breaking into the first team at the age of 16 and becoming their youngest ever goal scorer at the time.

He went on to make over 150 appearances for the Exiles over a 5-year period, collecting an FAW Premier Cup winner's medal along the way.

Sam went on to represent Merthyr Town, Cinderford and Mangotsfield in the English pyramid before featuring for Port Talbot Town and Carmarthen Town in the Welsh Premier League.

At the age of 28 he dropped down to tier 2, representing Aberdare Town, Goytre, Taff's Well and Goytre United.

Sam stepped into management with Port Talbot Town in September 2021, then guided Canton to promotion to the Ardal Leagues in 2023.

After a year at Llanrumney, Sam has decided to concentrate on just playing football and is looking forward to enjoying his return with the Crows.

At 38, Sam brings a wealth of experience and can cover a wide variety of positions.

Welcome to the Crows, Sam!
