10/06/26: Brandon Simpson Appointed New First Team Manager

The club is delighted to announce the appointment of Brandon Simpson as our new First Team Manager.

 

This continues our recent tradition of attracting talented young managers to the club, and we are excited to welcome Brandon as he begins this new chapter.

 

An FAW A Licence holder, Brandon comes highly recommended, with outstanding references from both the local football community and the professional game. Following an extensive recruitment and interview process involving a number of excellent candidates, Brandon emerged as our clear number-one choice.

 

Brandon's coaching journey has included roles with Taff's Well Academy, Blaenavon Blues, and most recently Forest Green Rovers Academy, where he has continued to develop his reputation as a highly regarded young coach.

 

Brandon is currently finalising his management team, and further announcements regarding his backroom staff will be made in due course.

On his appointment, Brandon said:

From my very first conversation with Dan, Wayne, and Scott, I knew this was a challenge I wanted to get my teeth into. Also, it's worth mentioning what a great job Dale, the coaching team and the playing squad have done across the last few seasons

Cwmbrân Town is a club with a great history and a squad packed with quality and experience. ​For me, football is about two things: high standards and enjoyment.

We are going to build a culture where training is the most exciting, competitive part of the players' week, and where we will field a line-up that gives us the best chance of winning come Saturday."
