11/06/23: New Senior Management Team Unveiled

Cwmbrân Town AFC are delighted to announce that as part of a broader long term plan, we have reshaped the management of the club by bringing in the former Pontypridd Town management duo, Damien Broad and Dominic Broad.

The brothers have spent a number of successful years across the Welsh league pyramid and return to the Crows after first joining the club 15 years ago as players in Welsh League Division 1.

Both brothers have held a close affinity to the club since then and will join the club to support the board and team to achieve sustainable success on and off the pitch.

The club has also moved swiftly to appoint a match day management team - announcing Danny Elliott, the former Newport County first team coach and UEFA A license holder as Head Coach of the club.

Damien Broad said:

‘I’m really excited to be part of the project here and in meeting the president it is clear to see the enthusiasm and passion is there to return success to this club. Dan and the club’s vision and plans make it an exciting project and I’m happy to be able to assist and support the club’s strategy on and off the pitch.’

Dominic Broad said:

‘I’m looking forward to helping Dan and Cwmbrân Town achieve their ambitious aims. Danny Elliott will bring enthusiasm, experience and commitment to the team and we are all looking forward to working together’

Danny Elliott said:

‘I’m absolutely delighted and honoured to be given an opportunity to manage an historic football club within the Welsh game. This will be my first step into management at senior level and I'm relishing the challenge. I’m really looking forward to it, and working with everyone at the club as a whole, to help push this club to achieve its potential.’

Club President, Dan O’Connell, on behalf of the club said:

‘After the amazing news of our partnership with the UK's fastest growing festival, In It Together, we are excited and enthused by the appointments of Dominic, Damien and Danny.

We are very grateful to be able to bring in such expertise and knowledge to the club, as we start our climb back to the top of Welsh football. We are also pleased to be able to share even more exciting off field and on field signings over the coming days and weeks.

Cwmbrân Town is a sleeping giant and it is our mission and our duty to work assiduously to get the club back to where it belongs. As a club we will be working together as one, on and off the field, to create an environment that attracts people and to build a club to be proud of.’
