04/06/24: Goalkeeper Coach Appointed
The club is pleased to announce that Fitzroy Hutchinson has been appointed as Goalkeeper Coach.
Fitz started his playing career with Pill, and then went on to play for Viney St Swithins in the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League. He returned to the Welsh pyramid and played for Caerleon in the Welsh League for several seasons, but he also spent six months with the Crows in the WPL in 2006.
After hanging up his boots he went into coaching, and was part of the Abergavenny Town management team that won the 2021/22 Ardal South East title and promotion to the Cymru South.
Town manager, Dale Clark, said: "I've worked with Fitzy for the last few seasons and he's a quality goalkeeping coach. His wealth of experience and boundless enthusiasm makes him the the ideal person to help coach our goalkeepers.
I'm really pleased to have Fitzy on board; his energy levels and brand of banter will certainly add something unique to the changing room spirit!
I hope to further strengthen our background staff in the coming weeks as I'm a big believer that a manager needs a good team around him to be successful."
Welcome to the Crows, Fitz!
